A college project to design a 12-page booklet for a fictional film festival taking place in Central Park, Manhattan. I decided to try and bring the images to life and give people a taste of what they were going to see by designing the layout around the images and giving the impression that the viewer is looking ino each scene. I also referenced the location and movies in general in the typography and choice of colour.
A condensed typeface (Univers) was used for the headlines. It reminded me of the architecture around Central Park, of the New York grid and of credits on movie posters.
